This position is responsible for managing day to day SCM activities as well as leading the site’s strategic SCM planning. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead site level supply chain goals and objectives to meet company and customer expectations. Manage day to day supply chain management (SCM) activities. Develop and manage strategic planning such as risk mitigation, inventory minimization, etc… Support schedule flexibility to minimize inventory exposure and maintain performance to cost targets. Lead and monitor SCM weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities, including ETA accuracy, PO (purchase order) past due tracking, material expedites, and E&O (excess and obsolete) updates. Escalate material issues as needed. Support customers in the global logistics initiatives, including importing compliance and duty tax payment processes. Manage performance and provide work direction and career development to supply chain staff. Fully understand SAP MM modules per MRP, ROP, item master, and purchasing data Perform other duties as assigned. Preferable for Mandarin/Chinese Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven analytical abilities Strong communication (written and verbal) skills MRP/ERP experience required Strong with Microsoft Office applications required VMI (vendor managed inventory) experience required Demonstrated success in implementing SCM productivity processes
